The next meeting of the Club will be on 6 June when the whole evening will be allocated to the Summer Project.

Message from Steve Jones

I am taking on the job of Programme Secretary from Peter Ergis for next season. The opportunities for members to show/talk about their work which Peter introduced over the past year or so have been popular. I intend to combine this with opportunities for technical tuition next season by having regular evenings with different topics/members work either side of the break. This will give us perhaps 12 to 18 of approx 35/40 minute slots for members to fill. Slots can be used by members to show their work, either as a structured talk/travelogue or perhaps to get feedback and/or technical guidance on images they are considering for competition. Alternatively, you may want to give an illustrated talk on some technical or historical aspect of photography.

At this stage I am just seeking expressions of interest from members who think they might want to participate so I can judge likely supply and demand. I also want to hear suggestions from members of topics, technical or otherwise, they would like to be covered.

Enjoy the summer break and hope you get involved in the Summer Project which Peter will unveil on 6th June.

Things to do/see this Weekend
