What’s on at the Club tonight

Tonight Steve Jones (our President) will be presenting “South Africa: People, Places and Wildlife”.

It is also hand in for Round 3 of the PDI Competition.

Next week (26 January) the PDI Competition will be judged by Darren Pullman.

 

What’s on this weekend and soon

Another weekend where not a lot is happening but…

Glastonbury at the V&A on now and until 26 February

They have a sound and film installation about the world-famous festival through time. The footage, which was filmed at the Worthy Farm event in 2014, shows the festival from different people’s perspectives. Free, just turn up.

 

Lantern Festival at Chiswick House and Gardens – 19 January to 26 February.

Celebrate Chinese New Year in London by entering a fantastic garden of lights during the Magical Lantern Festival. Set in the beautiful Chiswick House and Gardens, the festival boasts giant light installations and handmade lanterns in the shape of plants and animals. This year’s theme is the ancient Silk Road, with lanterns recreating the fascinating atmosphere of Persia, India and China. There will also be a 15-metre illuminated sculpture of the Houses of Parliament. £10.50 to £20.00 book ahead.

 

Bromley is competing in the first SLF Semi-Final tomorrow (20 January) at Selsdon Camera Club.
