What coming up at the Club tonight, next week and soon

Tonight Vivecah Koh (www.vivecakohphotography.com) will be our guest speaker. See attached flyer about her presentation entitled “Urban Exploration to Fine Art: a photographic journey”. It is also hand in for Round 2 of our PDI Competition. Things to do this weekend

Tours of the lock gates at Hampstead Road Lock, Chalk Farm Road, NW1 8AF – Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November – 10:00 to 16:00. Free

A rare chance to see an incredible feat of engineering from a totally new perspective. Lock gates last for about 25 years and so this opportunity won’t come around again soon. The work taking place at Hampstead Road Lock, also known as ‘Camden Lock’, includes replacing both sets of lock gates, brickwork repairs, repointing and timberwork. Hampstead Road Lock is a twin lock on the Regent’s Canal. The locks were constructed between 1818 and 1820 by James Morgan and it is the only twin lock remaining on the canal.
