	<description>Alan joined the Club in March 1980 and was invited to become a member of the Executive Committee in 1983 at the time he was appointed Slide Projectionist, a post he held for the next twenty years.
During this period he estimates that he has projected in excess of 30,000 slides!  After three years as the Club's General Secretary and in 2004 as Vice president to John Bartlett ARPS, Alan became Club president and continues as the Club's Archivist.

	<description>Betty has had a camera for as long as she can remember but took up photography seriously when her children left home and she needed a new challenge.  She joined the Club in 2000 and in 2004 was persuaded to become General Secretary.  In 2006 Betty also took on the role of Slide Competition Secretary.

The competitions, and in particular learning from the comments of the judges, gave a real focus to his work (pun intended!), leading to his recent successful submission of a panel of 15 images for his ARPS (Associate Member of the Royal Photographic Society).

	<description>Komal joined in 2005 and had some success in the Preliminary Class competitions.  Komal was invited to the Executive Committee at the end of the 2006 season and took up the post of Publicity Officer as well as assistant to the PDI Competition Secretary. 
With a background in IT he became involved in all things technical including redesign and maintenance of the Club's website.
